George and I took his grandson, Grant, ice skating for the second time in 4 years. He was able to let go of the rail and skate pretty good by the time it was all over. He was pretty discouraged to begin with and had many many falls. He thought he should just be able to take off and skate like everyone else. We really enjoyed the skating.
